After not posting for two weeks (they really need to improve the WiFi in my building in the city), I feel a sense of liberation from any ties I had going into the summer months. I’ve changed locations (North Carolina to NYC), switched up my friends and fell in love all over again with New York City. It truly is relieving to know that if you desire to do so, you can recreate/modify life by changing locations.
I’m usually not one to be focusing on the ground while walking, but I’m glad I happened to glance down while passing this painting made from drizzled paint on the sidewalk. I like to think of it as my fun welcome to Brooklyn — it was my first time visiting, and this random piece of art seems to fit well with the hipster vibe of Brooklyn.
